SCHOOL HAS ENDED! THe girls have been really sweet and it was definitely an eye-opening experience teaching them. I hope they'll get a better teacher next term so that they wil pass everything with flying colours, yay!

So another phase of my life has come and gone, its scary how time flies and how quickly things change. Things haven't been all that smooth but they are getting better, better in time, and I'm so glad for the people God has been placing in my life :)

Will begin a new LJ soon, and lock this one up completely (& visit it only when I feel like it). June shall be a great month - tons of classes, baking/cooking for people :):), catching up with friends & just lots of bumming + watching tv (+starfish&shark:D:D:D:D) before uni starts and life becomes hectic again!For now I gotta finish marking my scripts and be a nice marker hehe:)

i need to rethink some things.

i've been happy recently but things cannot be thought out on their own.
life's a rocking, besides the stupid stacks of papers to mark.

i swear, i'm going to camp at starbucks tmr with my venti dark mocha frapppp (which i've checked, is here to stay) & finish so i can debrief them in time for SA after which i will receive another 91379842179426952 stacks to mark. such is the life of a teacher.

i don't bother capitalizing my words or blogging properly because as far as i'm concerned this place is rather dead. i've been meaning to set up a new lj but due to procrastination and the lack of time i don't see how that will come anytime soon.

today was awesome and great fun, i wish i can feel like that everyday.

okay goodnight there's church tomorrow, bye

Bawled my eyes out watching Marley & Me. The ending was so sad! Dogs are such awesome creatures, they understand way more than most humans do, and they stand by you.
A dog is really man's best friend. I'm still amazed by my little baby's capacity to love and to be loved :)

I like one of my classes alot. :) They reminded me of how we used to be - not easily manageable but really fun !

Friday is coming, yay. Then its the weekend and then there's school again. I don't exactly fancy this period of nothing-to-do-ness. We're just waiting aren't we? Waited for results, waiting for university confirmations, waiting for expectations to be fulfilled or disappointment to overwhelm us, waiting for the next phase of life to overtake us. And in the meantime we're just burning time, and burning bridges subconsciously as well. I hope I don't lose my friends to circumstances which are beyond us, because I'm going to miss them alot :(

I'm supposed to blog about many things. Marriot buffet, ladies night, brunchhhhh, but I'm really too lazy at the moment.

Sigh I wanna go back to sleep.

I'm going to start teaching tomorrow :) I'm feeling abit apprehensive and nervous but I guess its normal, according to Oli, she was "nervous and sweating like a pig" when she first went in. I hope my classes will get nicer as the days go by. I hope they're nice to even begin with! I can imagine sitting there as a Sec 3 and observing a new teacher skeptically, which is probably what 36 pairs of eyes are going to be doing tomorrow. Oh how I wish I was nicer and more responsive to my relief teachers because I finally feel their pain.

Feeling better after the bout of flu & sore throat I got from Wednesday. Late night out + lack of sleep + near dehydration = DETRIMENTAL, ladies. It was really worth it though, I had the best night EVER omg, EVER. :)

I need Yilin's kind of motivation to blogand upload photos, heh!

I am proud to be a RGS girl. :)

Hehheh I've been prettttyyy busy with i don't know what. Everyday seems to be rather eventful despite my jobless status and I'm still in post As haven with boredom far from kicking in!

BUTTTTT.. Say hello to Miss Chong (gosh it sounds so weird, even weirder than calling Yilin Miss Tan) for I'mma RG girl once again ! A teacher this time round whoohooo how exciting :) I hope that my students will be nice and docile, and I'm sorry for every relief teacher I was ever mean to though I can't really remember being horrible to any. PLEASE let my classes be nice omg I'm so scared now but I've to get over this fear in like 4 days.

Will be expecting to see Miss Ng Jeanting, Ms Kam Kaiqi, and many other people teaching there now so its a form of consolation I suppose. Shall gather teaching tips soon, MISS TAN FLOOD ME thanks!

The looooooong holiday is looking up ! Fun, fun, and more fun, A NEW ADDITION TO THE FAMILY (no neither my mum nor I are pregnant I'm refering to the doggiee), an awesome internship at the law firm, mystery shopping (hehe i liked it) and now a teaching job :) Thank you Jesus for the many opportunities and not letting me rot in boredom and depression.

I WANT TO GET MARRIED :) (eventually), with my best friends as my maid of honor, flowergirl, wedding planners and have them next to me throughout the whole process, throw a ceremony at a pretty church and have the most awesome dinner EVER at some cool exquisite hotel !

I WANT I WANT, even more after watching Bride Wars (loved it!) and after Eileen's wedding today :)

K honestly, I've never ever dreamt about marriage in my life and I've always thought weddings are troublesome and expensive YET compulsory affairs which I'll probably enjoy when it comes but until then, who cares?
BUT NOW, I want a perfect wedding and to look perfect on the most perfect day of my life! Weddings are so sweet and nice, lallalala :) I hope I don't cry and smudge my mascara on my wedding day hahaha this is such a random and grossly bimbotic statement, not like this whole post isn't but please allow me to indulge in my girly dreams and thoughts for a moment :D I'm feeling extra awwww-y today. (Yilin please rmb, WATERPROOF MASCARA!)

Anyway, today was cool. Eileen looked smashing in her gown and Ben was just so cute haha:) I had FRONT ROW SEATS, next to my grandma (who needed to use the toilet in the middle of the ceremony HAHA she's so adorable) and I liked the church ceremony alot alot :)

ONE MORE HOUR till work ends! Surprisingly the trips home from Raffles Place MRT station are fine, not exactly the most pleasant of journeys but definitely not as irritating as I imagined them to be. Most of the time I've got sufficient space to manoveure around without bumping into weird smelly old men, and with my Ipod plugged in I'm appropriately immune from all noise :) I can't wait to go home and find Raphi with The Closer season 3 waiting for me! LOVE IT I can't believe I watched 3 episodes last night after a tiring day at work. It makes me wanna work for the LAPD investigating homicides and what not all day :D What great dreams I have.

I typed that all in 5 mins WHY IS TIME PASSING SO FRIGGING SLOWLY I think I've combed through almost everyone's facebook profiles, checked every single of my unread emails, and read everyone's blogs. I don't really care about people seeing me on facebook.com anymore haha I REALLY HAVE NOTHING TO DO AT THE MOMENT GRR.

Went to the High Court library in the morning to collect some cases and that place gives me the creeps, seriously. It reminds me ALOT of the Ministry of Magic from Harry Potter, the place where the prophecies were and where Sirius got killed. I've always imagined the MoM building to be like that, with the huge lifts, high mounted ceilings, dimly lighted and eerie atmosphere, weird rooms at every corner and shelves and shelves of books from centuries back, all peel-ly and yellow at the borders with the musty smell. I really wouldn't want to do my work there all day it will be so depressing.

BnJ replied me!!!!!!!! But I can't open the attachment because I'm not supposed to access my personal files on the firm's computer so I really really want to get my hands on my laptop. GRR. I may not take up the scooper job offer though, if I do get it. I will only go if I get to not work on Sundays which is actually quite rare to come by in the F&B business so yeah.. I WANNA GO TO CHURCH EVERY SUNDAY:)

Ending my internship tomorrow :) its been a great experience, learning new stuff and being exposed to what goes on behind the scenes. Whether or not I will apply for law hinges on the outcome of As.. which is and has been brooding around the corner for far too long. I don't fancy the wait now because everything's just so uncertain and I'm practically stuck at the crossroad of my life. I love and miss school soooo much, can't wait to visit RJ when Susan comes back or when Yilin is free! ...or when As results are out. Anyway if anything at all, I'm just glad for the opportunity and the experience here and I mustmustmust say this: older (+2 years and above?) guys are so much more mature.. THERE IS HOPE LADIES!

Okay 30 more mins to go.. I think I'll just sneak read Cleo or watch The Devil Wears Prada till then. Or maybe I will leave a teeny bit early I don't know :D

I AM TIRED AND I CAN'T WAIT TILL LUNCH BREAK :(

I'm on my third book of Law and Practice in Construction Contracts (!?) and I'm having a hard time understanding so I have to wikipedia the legal terms all the time to actually go through the books. I hope this research is useful to the lawyer manz, don't wanna be wasting time/money/resources of the firm! Then again I'm rather grateful for the opportunity to actually utilize my brain, or else I will be degenerating, BUT I SWEAR, i didn't expect work ten times as tedious as history term papers.

Suddenly I miss history lectures and KUNG! Hahaha he's so nice and cute i hope I do decent for history.

I'm so afraid that the lawyer across the room will assign me CHINESE PROOFREADING for his China case, I haven't read Chinese for 2 years =/

Can't wait till I finish so I can continue my awesome novel!

Prawn rolls are officially my most favourite CNY goodies, EVERRRR. Love love love omg the crisp when the flakes crumble in your mouth, the hint of spice accompanied by saltiness with every crunch and the sweet residue left after that. I SOUND INSANE haha but I REALLY LOVE IT. And I eat at an amazing pace, like 10/min so I've gotta controllllll or else my mum >:( at the half empty tin again.

I LIKE CNY !! (though I frigging hate seafood now after the countless steamboats) There was this day where I sat there to eat black-sauced chicken and mushrooms with rice only because I was so repelled by the prawns/fish/crabs/fishballs/meatballs/etc. Nowadays I'm perpetually full too, its not healthy sighhh.

Starting work next wed and meanwhile I'll search for a more permanent job to last me after that! (YILIN HAVE YOU FOUND ANY?) Hope it'll be a good experience anyway. This excessive bumming is starting to make me feel like a super hardcore couch potato = no good. Then again I have been devouring novels like nobody's business which is really enjoyable! I'm so happy I've accumulated so many over the year I've this habit of seeing and buying even though I have alot unread at home. SEE! It has borne fruits now I'm practically in book paradise :) Geek alert!

I've also been catching up with movies! Gonna catch the wedding game later haha i think its like what happens in vegas. Its good to watch local movies once in awhile, see how the quality has improved (or not) and whether they've stopped making crude jokes which I don't really fancy =/ Bride Wars was SO CUTE omg and what's with Anne Hathaway being in like 3 now showing movies! Not complaining though, I absolutely love her after Princess Diaries and Becoming Jane in which she acted in the character of Jane Austen.

Oh Jane Austen, reminds me much of Pride and Prejudice and therefore A LEVELS!!! Wtf I heard results are coming out on 13th feb!!!!!!!!! And my heart practiacally sank to the pit of my stomach when I heard. One day before valentine's day hurhur, I sure hope I get an awesome love gift from God.

I love my family (what's left of it at least), especially my 3 jiejies because they're awesome yay:)
